Right now, we are looking for a NOC Team Leader to integrate our internal team.
NOC (Network Operations Center) Mission:
Our mission is to diligently monitor, maintain, and optimize infrastructures, ensuring peak performance, maximum uptime, and robust security for our customers. By providing exceptional customer support and proactively resolving network issues, we commit to delivering an outstanding service experience that upholds the company's values and objectives.
Your responsabilities include:
- Manage, mentor, and provide technical guidance to the NOC team, promoting a culture of continuous learning, teamwork, and excellence;
- Develop and implement standard operating procedures, work instructions, and KPIs to ensure optimal network performance and security in alignment with industry best practices;
- Adoption of automation technologies and processes, by identifying opportunities to streamline repetitive tasks, reduce manual efforts, and improve overall efficiency in the NOC operations. Collaborate with NOC team members to develop automated scripts, monitoring tools, and alerts that enhance the team's ability to rapidly respond to network incidents and ensure seamless execution of maintenance activities;
- Oversee and respond to infrastructure incidents, ensuring effective troubleshooting and timely resolution to minimize downtime and service disruptions;
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on infrastructure capacity planning, upgrades, maintenance, and change management;
- Monitor the performance of our infrastructure using advanced monitoring tools and proactively identify opportunities for improvement;
- Prepare and present regular reports on infrastructure performance, KPIs, and team accomplishments to senior management and stakeholders;
- Maintain a customer-centric mindset, ensuring that NOC Team delivers exceptional support and service to both internal and external customers;
- Stay updated on the latest developments in the networking field and lead the adoption of emerging technologies that benefit the organization.
You must have:
- Team Leadership experience (minimum of 3 years);
- Extensive knowledge of network topologies, protocols, and equipment, including routers, switches, firewalls, and monitoring tools;
- Hands-on experience as a systems administrator, with expertise in managing diverse server environments (Windows, Linux, and Unix), virtualization technologies (e.g., VMware, Hyper-V), and cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP). Demonstrated ability to interface between network and systems infrastructure to ensure seamless interoperability and superior system performance;
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills;
- Familiarity with ITIL framework, change management processes, and industry-standard security practices;
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively with both technical and non-technical teams;
- Ability to work autonomously, identifying, and prioritising team workload;
- Ability to work under pressure.
First 6 months goal:
- Cultivate a strong team dynamic by fostering opportunities for knowledge sharing, cross-training, and mentoring, leading to optimized workflows, improved incident resolution processes, and increased overall effectiveness of the NOC team.
First 12 months goal:
- Optimize infrastructure by implementing proactive monitoring and regular maintenance to achieve a 30% reduction in incident response times and a 10% increase in overall network uptime, while maintaining high-quality customer support and ensuring adherence to industry-standard best practices.
